Those applying for Norwegian Language and Society courses for the first time must meet in person at Nygård school's building in Lars Hillesgate 16a to register.
Please bring your passport, or alternative educational
documentation from UDI / police regarding your residency permit.
You also need to bring a health certificate.
As part of the registration process, our staff will ask you questions about your former school/ education and work record. Registration may take some time, so please come on a day you have time to wait.
Time for registration of new students:
After registration you will be placed on a waiting list for a course that we consider to match your learning requirements.
How long do I have to
Some students may receive a course offer almost immediately while others may have to wait up to 3 months. If you know some Norwegian, you will be tested to find out what level and progression suits you.
